What kind of reactions will my child get The baby will usually develop reactions
to the vaccine only a week or two after the shot has been given. These
reactions are generally very mild and may include a rash, slight fever,
swelling of the neck or salivary glands, and aching joints.
To whom should this vaccine not be given It is dangerous to administer the
vaccine to anyone who is severely allergic to eggs or to an antibiotic
called neomycin.
