COCHIN MASALA FOR CURRIES
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup grated coconut
8-10 red chillies
1 tsp. black gram dal (udad)
1 tsp. coriander seeds
a pinch of turmeric powder
METHOD:
Roast all of the above ingredients
separately. Then put them together and grind in a dry grinder.
Store this masala in an airtight
container. You can use it for 6-8 months in a wide variety of curries.
