- He is also in charge of the Diarrhea Treatment and Training Center (DTTU) and Vice-President of the National Neonatology Forum, Karnataka, since February 1999.
- He has made contributions to both Indian and international medical journals and has presented several papers at medical conferences around the world and in India.
